Videos > Jekyll and Hyde Mural 2012

12 November, 2012

In September 2012 I put on a live painting event at the Glass Doors exhibition in the Kings Hall, Edinburgh. The event had kindly invited me to make a 12 foot by 7 foot mural in their lobby, which faced onto a busy Edinburgh road.

I decided to paint Robert Louis Stevenson’s Jekyll and Hyde – a classic piece of Scottish literature and also an interesting insight into the Scottish psyche. A veneer of culture hiding depths of passion…

The event went well and the organisers seemed pleased with the artwork which grew on their doorstep over the weekend.
