During the 2013 Edinburgh Festival I was the resident artist in the Tron Kirk at the heart of the Royal Mile. Starting with 13 large blank boards and clad in a red top hat and kilt, my mission was to paint a 52ft love letter to the Edinburgh Hogmanay Street party. Visitors to the Tron contributed reference pictures to my quest as I worked 15 hours a day for a month on my scaffolding.
Nestled in the corner of the best music venue in the Fringe, this is the entertaining story of the fun that was had.
