On August 2nd 2012, I launched a pictorial bombardment of Edinburgh Castle from a ledge outside the Sky Bar roof at the Point Hotel as part of a 3 Dot Gallery live art event. Several hundred people watched from inside the bar as the five and a half hour performance unfolded, until finally the Edinburgh Military Tattoo fireworks exploded overhead to complete the picture.
It was part of my continuing mission to search out new galaxies and boldly step out in public in a bid to entertain in the course of producing pictures, and it was also a natural extension of my time lapse projects.
